PLEASE clearly mark your child's name on all diaper bags, bottles, pacifiers, and everything that you bring into the nursery. You will receive one free MOPPETS diaper bag tag when you join MOPS. Please fill it in and attach it to your bag.

PLEASE do not bring food into the nursery such as cheese, bananas, sand-wiches, or other food items (this attracts all kids of unwanted pests).

A healthy snack and/or fruit will be provided to all 2-4 year old MOPPETS. Please inform the nursery if your child have any allergies.

We respectfully request that you please feed your child before you come to MOPS. Many cranky-child problems can be nipped in the bud if the child has eaten before coming to MOPS.

PLEASE do not bring your sick child into MOPS. The MOPPETS workers have the right to refuse any child that appears sick and/or has a fever or runny nose in order to prevent the other children from becoming sick.

If your child has been running a fever, and or has been sick in the past 24 hours or has a yellow or green running nose, Please make alternate childcare arrangements for your child.

PLEASE respect the MOPPETS class your child has been placed in according to his or her age:

Infants
0-12 months
Toddlers 12 - 24 months
Preschool 2 years
Preschool 3-4 years

Mothers instinctively look to meet their child's needs before thinking about their own. A mom needs assurance about her child's well being and happiness before she can get the most out of her time at MOPS.

The MOPPETS ministry focuses on the children of MOPS moms and strives to meet the needs of these children. The quality care and biblical teaching of the MOPPETS program can have a healthy impact on the entire family.

For practical purposes, the MOPPETS program is divided up into four different age-group classes: the infants (for babies under one year), the 12 - 24 month olds, the two year olds, and a combined 3 and 4 year old class. Each of these classes utilizes the MOPPETS curriculum program and childcare workers best suited to a particular age group.

On a typical MOPS meeting morning, a mom can drop off her child in the MOPPETS program starting at 9:15AM (please, no earlier). We ask that the moms check in their child(ren) by writing down specific instructions for the caregivers as well as making sure all items belonging to that child are clearly marked with his or her name on them. The child will be assigned to a specific MOPPETS class based on its age group.

Infants under five months of age may stay with their mother in the mom's meeting room as long as they are not a distraction to the other moms; however, MOPS encourages ALL moms to put their children in the MOPPETS childcare program in order to fully benefit from MOPS. If a baby becomes fussy or distracting during the meeting, we kindly request that the mother take her baby out of the meeting room.

When a child in the MOPPETS program is crying for a long period of time or is unruly, we will come and notify the mother to go pick up their child.

When a mom registers as a member of MOPS, she agrees to sign up for one MOPPETS duty turn per year to help out in the nursery during a MOPS meeting. In this way, we are guaranteed of having all the child care workers we need, and the moms can take an active role in making the MOPPETS program work.

Children under two years of age stay go into the The Lighthouse Nursery facility, and ages two to four years meet in the classrooms on the lower level of the Christian Education wing. When you check your child into MOPPETS, a childcare assistant will show you where to take your child.
